Philips - Digital Rehabilitation Interface for Stroke Patients

During 7 months internship at Philips Research, i have developed an innovative rehabilitation interface concept for stroke patients. The work conducted during this internship consisted of research, interaction and graphic design and maintaining a close relation with professionals from within the field to achieve an 'evidence based design'. This resulted in a 10 minute animated video that communicates the most important features of a new design vision. This video was used to gather feedback from professionals from within the field and to internally communicate the design vision at Philips Research. Furthermore, a design document was created that describes research in the fields of stroke recovery, patient motivation, healing environments, technology and interaction with the elderly.
